The Research Analyst will be responsible for handling all activities related to field surveys, cleaning large datasets, conducting technical data analysis, and using appropriate tools (R or STATA) to automate analysis for reporting purposes.
The Research Analyst will support all survey activities – from designing and piloting research instrument, programming an electronic survey in an ODK based platform, auditing incoming data collected to detect data quality issues at an early stage, to analyzing clean data sets. With support from the management team, the Research Analyst will also manage communications with the client and work on synthesizing the analysis output to meet the client’s requirements.
In addition, the Research Analyst will be expected to help the Laterite team ensure the timely and high quality delivery of other research projects. This will include working on designing, piloting and programming survey instruments, designing sampling strategies, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, writing reports, managing communication with clients and presenting findings and recommendations to clients.
